"She looks great!"

These were the words of Dr. Lee today when he saw her. Especially when he realized it had only been three weeks. Dr. Clark was pleased too. Morgan looked at him directly in the eyes and grabbed his hand. She walked around the room and explored while we were visiting. They were so impressed at all she was already doing. They said the MRI showed some swelling still, but they were not concerned. They said this swelling could be causing the seizures, but even if she didn't have swelling, it was common to still have seizures this soon after surgery. They continued to say that it takes time for her brain to heal. Neurology wants to see her in a week to increase her vagus nerve stimulator. Other than that, they don't need to see her until June. They released her to go back to school. She will start back tomorrow. Yay Morgan! We are so proud of you. We give God the glory for all He has done and continues to do. He is fully restoring her and providing the miracle we have all prayed for.

  2. Jeananne, she's just beautiful! God had brought her SO far and He's carried you and the family right along with her. From my own experience with a brain injured person, it does take time for the injury/surgery to heal . . . more time than WE are happy with waiting through. However, God is at work in Morgan's brain and she will be EXACTLY as He wants her to be when it's all over with. That she's been released to go back to school is wonderful. God keep and protect and heal Morgan AND you and your family. May you all live daily in the wonder of God's love for you. Best regards from your former PT client . . . Nancy Coram (and Henry and Joseph, too!!)
